The Title Heritage Bang-Tao

If Bangtao’s been on your Phuket shortlist, this one’s worth a peek. The Title Heritage takes Phuket’s old-school neo-colonial style and gives it a modern resort twist. Think white archways, lazy river pools, rooftop onsens, coworking lounges and even a cinema. It’s basically a lifestyle hub in condo form.
Units range from smart 1-beds (starting ฿4.44M) to spacious 3-beds (over ฿20M), with more than 30 facilities to keep everyone from kids to remote workers happy. Completion is set for 2026, which means you still get first-pick options.
And the kicker? Location. You’re just 250m from Porto de Phuket and Boat Avenue, with Bangtao Beach five minutes down the road. That means groceries, cocktails and sunsets all within easy reach, no car needed.

MAJOR STORIES
🐢 Phuket’s Por Tor Festival

📷 Courtesy: worapot_saetan
Phuket’s Por Tor Festival has kicked off in Bang Niao with Mayor Tan leading the red turtle parade. Crowds of locals and visitors gathered to honour ancestors, enjoy “Ang Ku” red turtle cakes and celebrate the island’s Chinese-Thai traditions.
The festival runs until 21 September across Phuket Town with parades, rituals and plenty of community spirit. If you are around, it is a brilliant chance to catch culture and colour in full swing and maybe taste a turtle cake said to bring luck and longevity.

🌕 Lunar Eclipse Witnessed in Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai was treated to a stunning Blood Moon this week as the Earth’s shadow turned the moon a deep red. The spectacle unfolded at Princess Sirindhorn AstroPark, where sky-watchers gathered from late evening until after midnight to witness the total lunar eclipse.
From Asia to parts of Europe and Africa, people looked up in awe at this rare alignment of the Sun, Earth and Moon. If you missed it, NARIT has shared highlights that capture the magic, proof that some nights are made for looking skyward.
FUN FACT

🥪 Did you know Thailand has more 7-Elevens than the USA? Yep, over 13,000 stores dotted across the country. Whether you fancy a midnight toastie, a quick iced coffee, or a random snack haul, you’re never more than a few steps from that familiar green-orange-red sign.
In fact, it’s fair to say 7-Eleven is as much a part of daily life here as pad thai or tuk tuks. Next time you’re wandering around, count how many you spot on a single street, it might surprise you.
OUT & ABOUT
🐴 Phuket Horseback Riding

An alternative to hiking trails, exploring Phuket’s countryside on horseback has its own kind of magic. At Phuket Horseback Riding, you’ll trot past rubber plantations, wind along quiet back roads, and take in views of Chalong Bay and the Bang Wad Reservoir & Dam at a pace that feels both relaxed and adventurous.
The beauty of it is that horses let you cover more ground than walking while keeping things slow enough to soak up every detail. It is that sweet spot between a Sunday stroll and a jungle trek.
Perfect for first-timers, families, or anyone curious to try, the rides are safe, fun, and a refreshing way to see a different side of Phuket.

☕ Wilson’s Café Comes to Phuket Town
Big news brewing. Wilson’s Café, the Rawai favourite, is opening a second spot right in the heart of Phuket Town. Think more of the same cosy vibes, great coffee and plates that make you linger a little longer.
Keep an eye out as they roll into town — it’s going to be the new go-to for brunch catch ups and caffeine fixes.

🌊 Small Acts, Cleaner Shores

Over at Mai Khao Beach, one visitor was spotted swapping sunbathing for a clean-up, carrying a trash bag along the sand. It is a small but powerful reminder that keeping Phuket’s beaches beautiful often starts with just one person taking action.
Next time you head for a seaside stroll, why not pick up a few bits along the way? Little efforts add up to a cleaner, brighter island for everyone.
