TOP STORY THIS WEEK
Earthquakes, Songkran & WTF Moments

Let’s not pretend.
You probably saw the headlines: “Massive 7.7 earthquake in Myanmar”, “Bangkok shaken”, “Should I cancel my trip to Thailand?”
So here’s what’s actually going on—without the panic, without the fluff.
First up, let’s talk about the elephant in the room:
Is it safe to come to Thailand right now?
Short answer: Yes, especially if you're heading to Phuket.
Here’s the breakdown:
The quake epicentre was in Myanmar, not Thailand.
Yes, Bangkok felt the tremors. Some buildings got minor damage, one construction site collapsed (awful, yes), and people got spooked.
But as of now:
Airports are fully operational.
Trains and metro? Running.
Hotels? Still doing room service.
Restaurants and shops? Open and buzzing.
You know what else is happening?
Songkran.
The country’s biggest, wildest, most water-soaked festival of the year is just around the corner.
And people are gearing up to get drenched and dance in the streets—because that’s what Songkran is.
But what about the aftershocks?
Yeah, they could happen. Experts say they’ll be smaller and less intense.
Here’s how to stay smart about it:
Avoid high-rise buildings if you’re paranoid.
Don’t book a hotel right on the Myanmar border (Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai—you get the idea).
Keep an emergency kit with you if you're really worried (first-aid, snacks, water, the usual).
Save important contacts on your phone.
Practice duck-cover-hold if the ground does a little shake-n-roll.
Here’s the truth.
Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui?
Chill. They're fine.
This area isn’t sitting on some tectonic plate line. No volcanoes, no seismic chaos. Just beaches, coconuts, and that guy selling grilled squid on a stick.
Life here is basically:
Sun’s out.
Food’s banging.
Tourists taking selfies with elephants again.
Tuk-tuks honking.
Locals smiling.
And honestly?
If you’ve already booked your flight and hotel—don’t cancel.
Come. Enjoy.
Drink a Chang, splash a stranger, eat way too much mango sticky rice.
Because waiting for “perfect timing” is just another way to let fear run the show.

PROPERTY HIGHLIGHT
The Residence Phuket

Ever dreamt of waking up to serene sea views, with the soft sands of Nai Harn Beach just minutes away?
Imagine a home where luxury meets comfort, and every detail caters to your refined taste. If this resonates with you, let me introduce you to The Residence Phuket.
Why Consider The Residence Phuket?
It’s ultra-high-end, loft-style living, built by people who know what they’re doing—over 30 years of serious construction experience behind this.
I toured this place.
It’s built like they meant it.
Here’s what you’re actually getting:
Location — 6 mins to Nai Harn Beach. 4 mins to Rawai. 25 mins to Central Festival.
Space — 2,000+ sq ft. 2–3 bedrooms. Feels more like a house than a condo.
Privacy — Private elevator access to your unit. Yes, your floor only.
Rooftop — Sauna. Steam. Infinity pool. Full view of southern Phuket.
Service — 24/7 security. Concierge. Maid service if you want it.
Who’s this for?
If you’re a remote worker, investor, or just someone who wants to stop burning cash on beachside rentals and actually own something that feels like a win—this is it.
You don’t need 10 properties.
You just need one great one.
Here’s the punchline:
The units are limited.
Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
And trust me—nothing like this sits on the market long in Nai Harn.
You want to live here?
Move now.

Straight up—if I weren’t already locked in, I’d grab one myself.
